Prototype UE Kart Racer

This is a small prototype of physics based kart racer that the team made on Unreal Engine 4 for the first time with in the span of a few days. We wanted to do a Game Jam and get some practice in on the Unreal Engine so we can get familiar with it more since we've done most of our work on the coding side of things with Unity. 

*You'll have to run the project in the Unreal Engine 4 editor to play the game.*

This is  a simple local multiplayer kart racer that supports up to 4 players and has an AI race if only one player is play. The game is inspired by the like of Mario Kart.

You can play with Keyboard & Mouse or with a controller.

Keyboard & Mouse Controls:

• W - Acceleration
• S - Reverse
• A & D - Turning Left and Right
• Space - Breaks
• Left Shift - Hop
• Enter - Start
• Scroll Wheel - Throw Items Forward or Backwards

Gamepad Controls (Xbox Controller):

• A - Acceleration
• B - Reverse
• Left Analog Stick - Turn Left and Right
• X - Breaks
• Right Trigger - Hop
• Left Trigger - Throw Items
  • Holding down or up on the left analog stick will determine the direction the item will go.
• Y - Start
